Rules of the parties !

Here are the main rules:

  • As someone with Asperger's, I find it difficult to focus on more than one task at a time. Crafting cocktails according to my precise algorithm demands a great deal of concentration, and my hands are often occupied with drinks, glasses, fruits, spirits, and the occasional knife. For the sake of both your safety and mine, the area behind the counter is strictly off-limits while I am mixing drinks. It's not just a matter of convenience - it's a matter of ensuring that we all have a safe and enjoyable time.

  • Let's keep the party going with a simple rule - WASHIWASHY. Help ensure that there are enough glasses for everyone to enjoy a drink by washing your own glass once you have finished your drink. It's a consequential rule, meaning that for future rounds, I will not start until all glasses that are not in someone's care or empty and washed. I trust that you will do your part and not exploit the kindness of others. Washing your glass is the only occasion where you can infringe the NONO ZONE rule, simply inform me that you are behind me while doing so. Let's all work together to keep the party flowing smoothly.

  • Accidents happen, and that's no big deal. If you happen to drop something or misplace an item, just PICK IT UP and return the place to its previous state. I'm always happy to lend a helping hand, but if I'm busy mixing drinks or entertaining guests, please inform me if you require assistance. It may sound like common sense, but recent events have shown that a gentle reminder never hurts. Let's work together to keep the party going smoothly and ensure everyone has a great time.

  • For your own safety and that of others, please refrain from moving any cords or cables that may be present in the room, especially those used for charging phones and speakers. These can easily create a tripping hazard, especially for those who may be under the influence. In the event that any cables are found to be obstructing a pathway, I kindly request that the person responsible for moving them take immediate action to remove them. Failure to comply with this request may result in the cable being collected and held until the responsible party comes forward. Please note that any such actions will be considered a strike. Let's work together to ensure that everyone can enjoy a safe and smooth evening.

  • Let's keep the party going without breaking the bank. I pour my heart and soul into crafting the perfect cocktails and creating a fun atmosphere, but I can't do it all alone. That's why I kindly request that everyone contribute to the party in some way, whether it's by bringing a bottle of their preferred spirit, some snacks, or even just pitching in to help with the cleaning. However, for those who live with me and lend a hand in preparing and cleaning, or for exceptional occasions at my discretion, I offer a special Household Pass. Let's work together to make this a memorable and enjoyable event for all.
You will receive a message with what to provide at least the day before the event this can be:
      • Gin
      • Spiced Rum
      • White Rum
      • Whiskey
      • Vodka
      • Prosecco (2 bottles)
      • Curacao
      • Disaronno
      • Vermouth
      • Tequila
      • Flavoured Liqueur (surprise me though obviously not something amongst the above mentioned, though a flavoured vodka is considered a flavoured liqueur.)
      • If you declare yourself as sober it is 10.00€ for the particular fruits and special garnishes.
      • 20.00€ (either in snacks or directly to me to use for fruits and soft drinks)

  • To keep things fair and flowing smoothly, I kindly ask that all drink requests be made from the designated queue on the east side of the kitchen. This helps to avoid any confusion or cut-ins, ensuring that everyone has the chance to enjoy their favorite cocktail. Remember, good things come to those who wait - so join the queue and let the mixologist work their magic!

  • We want everyone to have a great time at our party, which is why we take allergies and food intolerances seriously. While we always ask about these in our forms, we understand that we're only human and can sometimes forget. So, if you have any allergies or food intolerances, please don't hesitate to remind us. We promise to make a variation of the dish or cocktail that's safe for you to consume. This also goes for snacks, so please let us know if there's anything you should avoid. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities!

  • We all enjoy a drink, but let's remember that moderation is key to ensuring a fun and memorable evening for everyone. While I trust in your ability to gauge your tolerance, I will take the necessary steps to ensure that the party stays enjoyable for all. If you're getting close to your limit, I may water down your drinks and ask you to take it easy. In extreme cases, I may have to ask you to leave and add a strike to your guest status. It's not something I enjoy doing, but it's important to maintain a safe and fun environment for everyone. Let's all have a great time and make lasting memories without overindulging.

  • Bringing a friend to the party? No problem! We welcome plus ones, but please make sure to inform us in advance so we can prepare accordingly. As the host, I trust that you will be responsible for the behavior of your guest. We want everyone to have a great time, so please ensure that your plus one is also respectful and considerate. If they cause any trouble, we may have to ask them to leave. Additionally, if your plus one would like to attend, they will need to submit their own contact information through our form. Let's all enjoy a fun and safe evening together!

GUEST STATUS

Your GUEST STATUS is determined by a sophisticated algorithm that takes into account the number of times you've graced our party with your presence. From Plus one to Master of the House Honour, each level comes with its own set of perks and privileges.

This value can be in the order of points :

  • Plus one
  • Just subscribed
  • First timer
  • Guest
  • Official Guest
  • Official Guest with a drink (reachable if you are an official guest and never broke the rules 5 times in a row)
  • Silver Honour (reached after the 10th time you show up and never broke the rules with one murder mystery at least)
  • Gold Honour (reached after the 20th time you show up and never broke the rules)
  • Diamond Honour (reached after the 30th time you show up and never broke the rules with two murder mysteries at least)
  • Master of the House Honour (reached after being a diamond level and receiving my personal blessing)

Becoming an Official Guest is a coveted privilege bestowed upon a select few at my sole discretion. To be considered, you must have attended at least four events without any strikes against your name or disregard for the rules. Once you reach this esteemed status, you'll be entitled to special perks, including a drink in your name on your fifth appearance and the ability to vouch for others in the event of a strike.

STRIKES

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, I have implemented the STRIKES system. This allows me to keep track of individuals who are no-shows, display grave misconduct towards myself or others, or break specific rules.

STRIKE POINTS will be allocated based on my discretion, taking into account security issues such as the cable rule, grave misconduct towards me, other guests, housemates, or house property. Additionally, strike points will be given for presence-related reasons, such as a no-show without a genuine apology or a valid explanation, or bringing a plus one without notifying me at least 6 hours before the event. Remember, excuses like "I have another party" or "I forgot it is my sister's anniversary" won't suffice.

If you cannot come or want to bring more than one person you have to notify me 24 hours before at least.

To maintain the exclusivity of our special parties, we require that all plus-ones are registered in advance. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry, and penalties may apply if the original guest does not stay. We rely on the accuracy of the form submissions and the plus-one declarations to ensure that we can provide a personalized experience for all our guests. Please note that we may refuse entry at the last minute for those who did not fill in the form, as it helps us keep track of what to expect and what to prepare.

Once you reach 3 strikes you are automatically unsubscribed and not treated as a guest anymore meaning you will not personally receive the invitation and will not be able to fill in a form for future events.

How to regain my trust:
you can't really...

HOWEVER,

As a generous host, I believe in second chances. However, it will be up to my esteemed guests to vouch for your good behavior and restore your reputation. You cannot submit a form on your own while on a 3-strike level, but an OFFICIAL GUEST (or higher) can add your full name to their message. If you attend an event as a plus-one and abide by the rules, you'll earn back one strike. Remember, if you don't show up, both you and the guest who vouched for you will receive one strike each, and their official guest status will drop to strike 1. So, make a good impression and earn the trust of my guests to regain your status as a valued guest.

NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP BOTH YOU AND THE GUEST THAT VOUCHED FOR YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE STRIKE EACH and the official guest status will drop to strike 1.

To earn back your status as a valued guest, you must receive invitations from three different Official Guests who will vouch for your good behavior on three separate occasions. Please note that you cannot attend as a plus one to the same Official Guest more than once.
